• Description

This is a neat ring trick called the Gryphon Roll where you roll the ring between your fingers. Once you train your fingers and develop the right muscle memory you will be able to roll back and forth in a fluid and aesthetic motion.

  • Difficulty

Advanced. It will take a lot of repetitions to train your fingers to move the way they need to.

    Hi Asad
Thank you for your tutorials. I am not a magician, but have enjoyed your non card flourishes like the coin roll, gryphon roll and pen spin. I have quite a bit of time on my hands due to a spinal injury, so it is great to be able to do something with my hands that doesn’t involve having to go anywhere. The coin roll is going well I have surprised myself in getting to grips with it. The pen spin is one for later, but at the moment I am trying to do the gryphon roll and have been for the last month (man is it hard). I can roll from one side to the other, but to get it to flow like you do in the tutorial is another matter. I know you said it takes a lot of repetition and I know you can’t state how long it would take as you don’t know how long I practice etc. But, do you think little and often is better or long periods of practice, out of interest how long did it take you to get it to the level your at now? Thank you for taking the time to read my post.
    All the best
    Kind Regards
    David
